part one: cali

what i thought would be the first part of my travel adventure has turned into a mellow rest stop.
that's totally cool, i was just in cali only a few months ago. nothing much has changed cept for the weather, and the fact that daily beaching is not so common.
it's still easy to keep in touch with my t-dot world since my uncle finally got hi-speed net access, and the time difference isn't too big.
but once the 30th hits... i dunno how my stay-in-touch attempts will pan out.
p.s. i suck at taking photos. well, i suck at remembering to take them. i guess since cali's becoming a second home, nothing really catches me off guard anymore... until i see the vastness of the pac coast.
fuck. so hot. so big. and endless.
mmm... i love water.
i wish i had more friends down here. the one that i got is out of town. so i gotta entertain myself. which i'm used to, and have fun with. but still... timing sucks all around. my cousin's in vegas visiting his mother... i shoulda squatted at his loft.
but i'll prolly end up going to vegas. maybe handgliding with ossher. if i can get her away from her family.
i will try to hit the beach tomorrow. i don't like being pale in orange county. or anywhere else for that matter. i feel like death.

effff - also, so much delicious food choices means i will get obese by the time i hit oz. fun fun fun. hopefully my time in korea will right this. esp since there'll be a few key ways to stay active there. i get to learn how to snowboard, which will be a joke i'm sure. esp if i'm taught by some korean dude who i don't understand at all. fuck language barriers. why can't everyone just speak my language?

ignorance

korea's gonna be the hardest part of my journey as it will be the biggest culture shock. i'm excited.
